Opening Times

The receptionists are available at the surgery Monday to Friday between 08:00 - 18:00. Please note that the practice is closed between 13:00 - 14:00 every Wednesday for staff training. For emergencies during this time please telephone the practice and you will be advised of the emergency contact number.

When We Are Closed

Out of hours Emergencies – NHS 24 – Call 111

Should you require emergency care when the practice is closed outwith normal surgery hours of 08:00 to 18:00 Monday – Friday please telephone NHS 24 on the above number.  Should you ring the surgery number the answering service will advise you to contact NHS 24. 

When you phone NHS 24 an experienced nurse or health information advisor will assess the situation and advise you on what to do next.  Home visits will only be made to seriously ill/housebound patients.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
